Video Debut of Muse's Neutron Star Collision from Twilight Saga: Eclipse

As reported previously, Muse's "Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)" is to be the first single off the soundtrack from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and today the video, directed by Anthony Mandler, hit the Internet. Coincidentally, Mandler is attached to direct the vampire film Vlad for Summit.

MTV got to debut the song (hey, I guess they do have some music cred left after all!), which contains quite a few clips from the film.

The full Eclipse soundtrack is scheduled for release on June 8th, and you can check out the full track listing below. Muse's video follows.

1. Metric – “Eclipse (All Yours)”
2. Muse – “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)”
3. The Bravery – “Ours”
4. Florence + The Machine – “Heavy In Your Arms”

6. Fanfarlo – “Atlas”
7. The Black Keys – “Chop And Change”

In David Slade's Eclipse Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Muse are fucking amazing. Pick up 'The Origin of Symmetry' CD or the live 'Hullabaloo' DVD. Apart from Iron Maiden they are easily the greatest live band of their time.

In fact, if you watch HIGH TENSION you will see a brilliant use of their epic masterpiece 'New Born' during that film.

I've never heard them before but that's a pretty horrible song. I'm sure they're popular and wouldn't be surprised if my kids have them on their ipods. Both my boys listen to pretty awful music even though I raised them on Pink Floyd and the Stones and such but their mother has much more influence on them than I do so I'm powerless and just have to live through this awkward, bad taste in music phase.

Me and you are kinda from the same school musically. That being said Muse rocks. Their kind of like this generation's Queen.

I can hear where you're coming from with the Queen similarity in Knights of Cydonia especially. Pretty cool video too.

Floydian I've no doubt you've heard 1-2 of the songs UC listed, you just didn't know it was MUSE. I.E: If you have seen any commercial for the tv series "V", you've heard MUSE.

I really don't think I have. I try to stay in a 1970's bubble which keeps me from going over the edge. Thanks for the recommendations I am going to check them out. Queen and Freddie Mercury were brilliant and now that Heaven and Hell are no more I could use a band to fill the empty void.

You're a little late -- They were on the first two soundtracks also. But don't hold it against them. Everybody needs a paycheck!
