A new Dinner for Fiends lambasting the 2010 A Nightmare on Elm Street is on its way shortly, but to help tide you over until then, we have Trembles' take on the Platinum Dunes remake. As you might expect, it ain't pretty!
The Samuel Bayer directed reboot stars Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Katie Cassidy, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Clancy Brown, and Connie Britton and focuses on a serial child molester murdered by angry parents, who returns with a burnt face and a razor glove to terrorize teens in their dreams.
Synopsis
"Nancy, Kris, Quentin, Jesse, and Dean all live on Elm Street. At night they're all having the same dream -- of the same man, wearing a tattered red and green striped sweater, a beaten fedora half-concealing a disfigured face, and a gardener's glove with knives for fingers. And they're all hearing the same frightening voice...
Not as funny as I was hoping it would be, but yeah, the movie is painfully boring. I was so exhausted after watching it.
