Eva Longoria Checks into the Tenement

As far as we are concerned, the world cannot have too many supernatural horror films. There's just something about the things out there that go bump in the night that easily captures the imagination of the audience. Maybe it's because we're really not sure if there are such a thing as ghosts or hauntings. Are spectres the mad ramblings of an unstable mind, or are they something more that is all too real?

Either way, one person we wouldn't mind going bump in the night with is "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria Parker, and according to Production Weekly she has just signed on for Franc Reyes' supernatural horror film Tenement, which begins shooting next month in New York.

In a recent statement on the Alumbra Films blog, Reyes issued the following statement about the film -- "If I had to point to one film that had the full impact of story, writing and genius directing, on me it has to be The Exorcist. Telling the story of Tenement fuses The Exorcist, Amityville Horror and Rosemary's Baby."
