Will Supernatural's 100th Episode Really Be the Point of No Return?

Last night's Supernatural episode saw older brother Dean Winchester reach a pivotal place in the journey he's on this season. Will the show's 100th episode find him at the "Point of No Return"? Check out the new webclip and special 100th episode trailer provided to us by The CW and see if you can find any clues.

Here's the ep's synopsis:

Dean (Jensen Ackles) begins to think the only way to stop Lucifer is to say yes to Michael, but the angels decide they don’t need him anymore. Dean, Sam (Jared Padalecki), and Castiel (Misha Collins) are horrified at the angels’ new game plan and take on Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) to prevent an all-out war on Earth. Meanwhile, a familiar face returns. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver.

Note to self: STOP clicking on anything in here that reads "SUPERNATURAL" until you have caught up with the series. Still, the last one I have seen is when Dean was sent to hell. UGH.

The Whore of Babylon was such a cunt I got so happy when she died. I wonder why Dean was able to kill her when it was deemed a true servant of heaven had to kill her.

Also the final scene with Dean's love was so emotional.

I'd always heard of "The Whore" but never really knew who she was. I love it when I can learn something new from Supernatural! As for Dean being able to kill her, I guess it means that in some way he's divine? No doubt we'll be finding out soon enough.

I wonder if he's an angel or something. It'd be wild if Sam is taken by Lucifer while Bobby as God leads Dean as an angel to take him down once and for all. It seems to be headed in that direction. Brother vs. brother, one light and one dark.

Oh, man, I love Castiel in that clip. I really hope he's still on the show next season although I have a sinking feeling the end of the apocalypse might be the end of his character as well.
