Andrew Howard Brings Evil to The Dark Fields

Every good film needs a good villain, and if there's one thing that actor Andrew Howard is damned good at, it's being completely and unabashedly wicked. Guess that makes him the logical choice to play the heavy in the upcoming flick The Dark Fields.
Howard will be joining the already announced Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Robert De Niro, and Anna Friel. Mark our words; Howard having a run in with veteran actor De Niro will be worth the price of admission alone.
The Dark Fields, based on the book by Alan Glynn, follows a down-and-out writer (Cooper) who gets his hands on a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes one smarter. He experiences sudden financial and social success but soon discovers that the drug has lethal and lasting side effects. Before long, mysterious antagonists are pursuing him.

I got to be in a scene with him yesterday, while working background, and I walk right past him in the shot. He confronts Bradley Cooper's character on the street and shoves him into a gated store front. Very intense scene. He was very scary.

I am soooooo happy Howard is finally in a "big" film. UC is right -- that guy can do evil like nobody's business. And it doesn't hurt he looks so hot while doing it either!
