So they're butchering RE5 this time?

These movies would be a helluva lot better if Mila wasn't in them. They're not all that bad but she just fucking destroys them.

I disagree. Milla's great as far as I'm concerned. Just leave Larter out, and I'll be happy.

What's wrong with Ali Larter?

Look up wooden in the dictionary, and there she is!
Actually, she kind of grew on me during this latest season of Heroes, but overall her track record isn't the greatest.

She's pretty good IMO and she's preferable to...alot of people, actually. She just has this vibe to her that I like but, eh, agree to disagree. Though you must have a different dictionary than me, because I looked up wooden in there and all I got was a picture of Channing Tatum beating Sam Worthington using Rachel Bilson like a baseball bat.

I'll take Larter over Jovovovovich any day of the week, honestly.

I'll admit I thought she was a prospect in The 5th Element but she has proven to be one of the worst actresses in a relativley big budgeted movie I have ever seen. I watched that Tea Party thing and it just pissed me off to no end that one of these supposed women of horror spent time studying her.
Submitted by Floydian Trip on Wed, 03/31/2010 - 5:19pm.
For once I agree with Floydian. What's so good about Milla? Her two facial expressions? Her raspy voice? Her ability to be the female Keanu Reeves? Her shapeless body resembling a starving ten year old?

Good to see I'm not the only uninterested in this movie. I've seen bits and pieces of the first one, I vaguely remember seeing Part Two in theatres and have never gone anywhere near Part Three. This one will be no different. As far as Milla Jovovich goes, I'll repeat what I told some friends today..."She's not an actress, she's a manually manipulated mannequin."

"She's not an actress, she's a manually manipulated mannequin who made a deal with the devil."
Just completing your sentence for you.
How else to explain her zero appeal that somehow manages to draw hordes of horny fanboys and girls to her? I'm stunned someone like HER gets drooled over when there are about thirty hot women in Hollywood deserving of more attention and could likely handle this role much better.
I'll NEVER forgive Anderson for butchering RE. Those games could have made incredible horror movies. And now they're just love letters to Milla.

Same reason people find Amber Heard hot?
I mean, Milla looks hot sometimes, but it depends. I thought she looked good in the first Resident Evil movies and some of her modelling work, but then shit like Ultraviolet and Resident Evil 3, just, no. She looks better in this one, but that's hardly saying much and I do agree with you, there are many other actresses who are much hotter and could pull this role off easily.

I disagree. She looks like a butch lesbian in those stills. She looks like she's about to challenge someone to an arm wrestling match.

What bugs me is how in some of them she seems like she's ten years older than she is, like that last one with the MP5 or whatever gun that is. She looks the best in the wet shot, but even then Ali Larter's standing next to her so it's basically a no contest. Wet Ali Larter wins hands down.
Submitted by Rob on Wed, 03/31/2010 - 6:55pm.
Yeah at least Larter's body signals she's had some form of puberty in her adolescence.
