Stan Winston's Speed Demon Hits the Fast TrackIt's been over three years since last we heard anything about the Stan Winston produced creature feature Speed Demon, but just like any good ghoul, ya can't keep 'em down for long!

According to Variety Paradox Entertainment has optioned the horror pitch Speed Demon, co-developed by the f/x-vet Stan Winston, for Peter Winther to direct.

Speed Demon is described as a supernatural action flick centered upon an underworld enforcer, who, while hunting a small-time crook on a desert highway, discovers that he is also being tracked by a mysterious, terrifying creature.

The script was written by Mike Sorrentino and Randy Vampotic, and the creature work will be handled by Patrick Tatopoulos (Underworld trilogy, I Am Legend), who worked with Winston to design creatures for the film.
