Paranormal Activity Star Micah Sloat Talks Sequel

While everyone's is still buzzing about the nice horror garnish that went along with the main course of the Oscars, it was at the Independent Spirit Awards two nights before where some Paranormal Activity sequel news came about.

MTV caught up with star Micah Sloat during the event's red carpet, and the actor promised a couple of things, mainly that the new film will stay true to the spirit of the original.

"All I can tell you is I'm very excited for the project," says Sloat. "It's really cool, it's gonna be really interesting, and it's not gonna suck, which most horror sequels ... you would imagine ... would. We have money now, but we're staying true to the heart of the movie, to the spirit of it, to the vision."
