New and Improved Box of Shadows Website and Trailer
Things are moving at lightning's pace for Mauro Borrelli's Box of Shadows. It seems like every week something new about the film is getting released. Next up - a brand new website and trailer!
From the Press Release
Box of Shadows, director Mauro Borrelli and producer Ed Polgardy’s upcoming horror thriller about a group of college friends who discover a 15th Century coffin that allows them to experience the world as ghosts, now has a new website featuring exclusive photos, details about the film, and a two-minute trailer that gives horror fans their first peek into the dark world of the movie.
The trailer features images of the mysterious coffin, its ghostly users, and the mechanical reaper who haunts the film’s unlucky characters. Frame grabs and behind-the-scenes photos show even more of the dark world that Borrelli and his team have constructed.
“We’re excited to show horror fans and lovers of dark material the first images from Box of Shadows,” said Borrelli. “If you like what you see in the trailer, you will love the movie.”
Besides the trailer and images, the website features additional information about the ideas and concepts of the film, including the mysterious coffin. “What if you had a device that allowed you to enter the spirit world, pass through walls effortlessly, and travel anywhere without being seen? Would you use it for good or evil?”
“This movie is going to get under your skin in unexpected ways,” said Polgardy. “It’s a powerful story with spine-tingling visual elements. Horror fans, get ready for a fun ride.”
Box of Shadows is slated for release in the summer of 2010. The producing team includes Polgardy (Laid to Rest, Dark House), film festival veteran Scott Rudolph, Alfredo Gilardini, Gabriella Stollenwerck (Dead End, Big Nothing), and Domiziano Arcangeli (Black Demons, H1N1: Virus X).
