UPDATED: Next Stephen King Project Entitled Full Dark, No Stars
It's just a little tease, but according to Stephen King's official message boards, the scribe's next project will be entitled Full Dark, No Stars, and fans can look forward to seeing it in November of this year.
The prolific King often uses StephenKing.com and its forums to keep the public informed as to what he's up to. Here's the skinny on Full Dark, No Stars:
"[It] is a collection of 4 previously unpublished novellas and is expected to be released in November (possibly 9th, but that is subject to change). We will announce more details as they become available."
Like we said, not a lot to go on, but a little King news is better than nothing! As we learn more, we'll pass it on.
UPDATE: A small clue about one of the stories was released shortly after the initial post: "Steve has told me it's okay to say that one of the novellas is about Hemingford Home." Velly interesting indeed!

I object. Especially when it comes to Pink Floyd. A Momentary Lapse of Reason was Floyd's biggest selling album and for good reason. I don't buy the faux Pink Floyd sound that Roger Waters diehards always rail on. They were better off apart. Besides they started with Syd.
EDIT
Damn, I meant to reply.

Overruled! Which is why I don't even own Momentary Lapse.

I strenuously object!

Cool! King's novellas are usually some of his very best work. THE MIST, THE BODY, RITA HAYWORTH AND SHAWSHANK REDEPTION, APT PUPIL, THE LANGOLIERS, THE LONG WALK. Great stuff.

The Who are still great and so is King. I can't keep all his "projects" straight anymore which I couldn't be happier about.

I thought King was going to retire from writing many moons ago? Did he change his mind... or was I dreaming?

He's like The Who! I've been to, what, at least three of their "farewell tours" since the 80's.

Heh!... and whaddya know, "The Who" then go on to play the Superbowl (and not very well, IMHO).

They're not the Who anymore. Without Entwistle and Moon they're just two guys from The Who. It'd be like Paul and Ringo touring as The Beatles. It's not really THE Beatles.

I don't buy that logic. So Pink Floyd wasn't Pink Floyd without Roger Waters? Bullshit! I even wanted to badly go to The Doors reunion show. The Who sounded great musically but the vocals were off but I thought they still put on an excellent show.

I'm with Terminal. The Who isn't really The Who anymore, and Pink Floyd without Waters is definitely not Pink Floyd. Zeppelin is one of the few bands that realized when Bonham died, so did the band. That's why when Page and Plant toured together some years ago, they were billed as Page and Plant, NOT Led Zeppelin.

Exactamundo. And The Doors without Morrison is not The Doors. The Grateful Dead without Garcia is not the Grateful Dead, etc.

I still insist the Who is not The Who anymore. They're just two guys pretending to be The Who.
