Eli Roth Set to Show Us The Other Woman

Dolph Lundgren Gets RegeneratedAmazing. We don't hear anything from Eli Roth for moths and now - BAM! Three news items in one day! Good thing we love that truly inglourious basterd!

Variety reports that Studio Canal, Strike Entertainment, and Eli Roth are teaming up to bring us the psychological thriller The Other Woman. The film will be helmed by Huck Botko and Andrew Gurland, who are currently writing the screenplay.

The Other Woman, centering on a scorned mistress who makes a film for her ex-lover, is set to shoot in late spring. Roth said the movie will delve into "the worst nightmares of those who have had extramarital affairs and the sickest fantasies of those who have been scorned."

StudioCanal is presenting the pic to buyers at Berlin's EFM this week. Botko and Gurland also wrote The Last Exorcism (previously known as Cotton), which they originally were slated to direct.

I like the guy myself. Axelle must have seen something in him.

I think you might be confusing Eli with Neil Marshall. But I agree with the sentiment -- I have no issues with Eli other than that he should have just kept his mouth shut in Basterds. It would have made his performance much more effective.

Haha, no I meant Eli and I have the pictures to prove it that she sent me herself. I have always been in love with her. She was mine before Neil got his grubby hands on her dammit! I love Neil too but watch out my friend. 'Cause someday I'll steal her back and she will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine.

The words "Eli" and "Roth" make me automatically not interested.

Let me guess, he's gonna star in it as well with a cameo by QT.

I hope he does this good. I don't look at Roth and think "psychological horror." I wonder how many times he'll include the line "That's so gay" in this script, though. Hmmmm.

As he won't be writing or directing it, if it finds it's way in there, it will be the writers/directors responsability.
