The Foywonder's Rambling Audio Review of Legion

If you were one of the many people who saw Scott Stewart's Legion over the weekend (and there must have been a lot of you since the film came in second in the box office rankings with an estimated $18.2 million), then you'll no doubt be interested in the following message we received from The Foywonder:
"What you are about to hear is raw unedited audio of a recording I made in my automobile with a handheld voice recorder while driving home from the theater after taking in a late night showing of Legion. The quality of the audio is not perfect, nor was the state of my mind. The sound in my voice is a combination of elation and exasperation at the motion picture I had just witnessed. It is less a review than a 14-minute rambling rant as I try to fully take in the mind-blowing clusterfuck for the ages that was Legion."

Synopsis
After a terrifying Biblical apocalypse descends upon the world, a group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner in the Southwest unwittingly become humanity's last line of defense when they discover the diner's young waitress is pregnant with the Messiah.

Yeah, definitely not his best. Dead spots and a lot of "um" and "uh" from the usually eloquent Foy. A little preparation goes a long way, buddy.

You do realize this was not originally intended to be a publicly heard audio review? I intended to just record some audio notes for a written review but just started ranting and rambling and sent it in just because Creepy and I had been joking earlier in the evening about how insane Legion was.

Of course I didn't know it wasn't meant for our ears and now that you mention it I do apologize. Like I said, all your audio stuff has been top notch and this seemed almost amateurish by comparison. But I tell you what, I'm still going to see it based on how batshit crazy you make it sound.

That paragraph up there about this being raw audio recorded on the fly in my car on the way home from the movie is not a joke. That is exactly what it is.
