Derek Mears -- Predators Official!

Though we've been talking about it for a couple of weeks, Derek Mears finally made it official at this year's Rock and Shock convention in Worcester, MA! He is totally confirmed to be on board for Predators!
"People were talking for a couple of weeks," said Mears at the show, "but I wasn't able to confirm. I kept assuring the filmmakers that I was not the leak. Now it's out there, but I'm still not saying who I play."
Oh, Derek! Such the tease! Please let the big guy play a Predator. The choice just seems like a no-brainer.
Predators involves stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins and Alice Braga who are kidnapped and whisked away to the Predator home planet where they are hunted. Nimrod Antal directs.

I read they were gonna go back to Stan Winston's iconic original design for the Predator.
So that would mean they were looking for another stick-thin, 7-foot-tall guy to fill the suit.
If you remember, AVP and it's even worst sequel had Michelin Man wrestler bozos in bulky suits at their Predators.
After those abominations Nimrod Antal needs only stray an inch from the classic design to damn this picture to "Fuck You!!"-ville.
