More quick news coming out of the Cannes Film Market. Latitude Prods. and Lascaux Films have acquired Andy Pagana and Justin Thomas’ spec script The Man in the Rearview Mirror. Read on for details!
Set in the 1950s, the Rear Window-esque story follows a man, his wife, and her mother, who pursue a suspected kidnapper at high speeds on the freeway. The film will be a co-production between L.A.-based Latitude Prods. and Dallas-based Lascaux Films, which aim to start production early next year.
The scribes are currently writing Parkfield for the Woodshed Horror Co., an outfit run by Elijah Wood, Daniel Noah, and Josh Waller that is dedicated to the production of elevated horror films.
