The folks at Hammer Films are branching out into the literary realm via their recently announced partnership with British literary agency PFD to pursue book deals based on its slate of properties.

Variety quotes Caroline Michel, CEO of PFD, as follows, "Hammer is an iconic household name with a loyal fanbase, and the raft of forthcoming initiatives will create a whole new generation of devotees." Michel [also] said the agency will look for partnerships with publishers in all territories to "bring new life to the brand with exciting contemporary writers," the way it has done with the James Bond franchise.
Hammer currently has 15 projects in various stages of development and is wrapping up The Resident as its first major release since the 1980s. As a reminder, the film is helmed by music video director Antti Jokinen and stars Hilary Swank, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and long-time Hammer icon Christopher Lee. In addition, Hammer is behind Matt Reeves' remake of Let the Right One In, which has been retitled Let Me In.
As further details come in regarding the Hammer/PFD partnership, we'll be sure to pass them on.
