Blu-Ray Art and Details: Near Dark, Cujo, and Frailty
Lionsgate is busy dropping more horror onto Blu-ray! This time they're hitting us with three classics to get you going on your high-definition tangent, but be warned -- there could be a really nagging down along with this set of 1080 ups!
DVD Active scored the art and specs for the following releases:
Look for Frailty to hit Blu-ray on November 24th. The film will be presented in widescreen, along with 7.1 DTS HD Master Audio. Extras will include a commentary with director Bill Paxton; a second commentary with writer Brent Hanley; a third commentary with editor Arnold Glassman, producer David Kirschner, and composer Brian Tyler; deleted scenes with optional director commentary; 2 featurettes ("Anatomy of a Scene", "The Making of Frailty"); storyboards; and a photo gallery.
Look for the 25th Anniversary Blu-ray release of Cujo on November 24th. The film will be presented in widescreen, along with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. Extras will include a commentary by director Lewis Teague and a making-of Cujo three-part documentary with interviews with Teague, director of photography Jan de Bont, producers Daniel H. Blatt and Robert Singer, Dee Wallace, Danny Pintauro, Stephen King’s biographer Douglas E. Winter, and more.
Look for Near Dark on November 10th. The film will be presented in widescreen, along with a 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio soundtrack. Most disturbingly, the site reports that as far as they know, there won't be any supplemental materials included. Great. First we get the diet-Twilight cover art and now this. Let's hope they're just ill-informed, mmmkay?
