First Twilight Saga: New Moon Music Video

If you ever turn off your iPod and listen to the radio, then you’ve no doubt heard Death Cab for Cutie’s “Meet Me on the Equinox” single from The Twilight Saga: New Moon just about non-stop since it first debuted a few weeks ago. And now you can do more than just listen as the first music video for the song (and the film) has arrived online.

As Fandango describes it, there’s not much here that we haven’t already seen in the first couple of trailers, though those familiar with what’s been out there will notice a couple of new shots mixed in. The site’s Erik Davis writes, “I especially like the final shot of the video where half the band is in sunlight while the other half hides in the darkness as we fade out on the words ‘everything ends’. That’s sort of the theme this time around, as Bella spends most of the film trying to find Edward again physically, spiritually and emotionally, but can she find him before he takes his own life and commits the ultimate sacrifice?

As every tweener on the planet is aware, New Moon opens in theaters on November 20, while the soundtrack will be available October 20.
