The Hills Run Red and Trick 'r Treat at a Dark Delicacies Signing!

I gotta say Dave Parker's The Hills Run Red having watched it a second time is really starting to grow on me. Trick 'r Treat, on the other hand, knocked me flat from the first frame, and I'm already planning to curl up with the Blu-ray again. The really cool news is that if you want to meet the creative geniuses behind these groovy flicks, keep on reading to get into the know!

Dark Delicacies will host a signing this Friday, October 9, where HRR director Dave Parker and composer Frederik Wiedmann will be signing copies of their film on DVD (the CD score will also be available). On the Trick 'r Treat front, writer/director Michael Dougherty will be there with Douglas Pipes and Marc Andreyko pimping the DVD, CD, and killer graphic novel! The event kicks off at 7 PM, and if you've never been there, check out the address below:

Why not head on over there and show your support? We horror fans got the shaft by not being able to see these flicks in theaters, the way they were met to be seen. But for all you CA folk, it's definitely cool to be able to drop by and geek out with these guys!
