The good news is that you'll be able to catch the Christian Christiansen-directed flick a few weeks earlier, on September 17, 2010. Read on for more info... Sony Screen Gems also broke word that their other genre flick, Priest, will now open wide on the vacated October 1, 2010 release date. For those of you who've forgotten, Priest is a post-apocalyptic horror thriller set in a world ravaged by war between man and vampires. Paul Bettany stars as a warrior priest and vampire fighter who teams with a sheriff (Cam Gigandet) and warrior priestess (Maggie Q) to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Karl Urban (pictured) is on hand as the leader of the vamps, promising to be a worthwhile villain. As for The Roommate: College student Sara finds her safety jeopardized after she's assigned to a dorm room with a new roommate, Rebecca.
