DVD News Home Media Magazine The Reaper Awards Tweet By Uncle Creepy September 3rd, 2009 Since we announced The Reaper Awards 2009, which is the first awards show to celebrate excellence in horror on DVD and Blu-ray, a lot of people have been wondering just what the actual award would be. A certificate? A plaque? A well placed head shot? The answer is none of the above. We've got something a lot cooler in mind! Ladies and gentlemen ... Get ready to feast your eyes on nearly a foot tall of badass hand-crafted horror loving sexiness ... The Grimmy! Winners of the “Grimmys” will receive handcrafted Grim Reaper statuettes designed and sculpted by Joe Sena, president of SphereWerx LLC, parent company of the FearWerx horror and EMCE Toy brands. The statuettes were cast by Paul Clarke of EMCE Toys and hand-painted and assembled by Sena. Check out the picture below. Voting is simple. Just click here.
