NBC to Deliver Midnight Mass
Here's the formula if you want to get a movie or series made nowadays: It has to be either be a sequel, a remake, or based on a comic book. Enter one of DC Vertigo's releases -- Midnight Mass.
THR reports that NBC has picked up a live-action drama adaptation of the comic book series from DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts are on board to write the project for Warner Bros. TV and studio-based Jinks/Cohen Co.
"Midnight," which has received a script commitment with penalty from the network, revolves around Adam and Julia Kadmons, a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband-and-wife team who solve mysteries and crimes of the supernatural.
This one has actually been kicking around for a while now with nearly a dozen producers taking a stab at turning the comic into a TV series. Guess they finally got the recipe right. Look for more on Midnight Mass soon!

I liked the comic quite a bit, and it was one of the first in the rebirth of horror comics titles as well. It deserves a shot at the visual medium. Here's hoping.
