True Blood Renewed for Third Season



Attention fang-bangers! Break out the drinks and lose the turtlenecks! It's official! "True Blood" Season Three has been officially renewed!

According to the THR Live Feed, "True Blood" has managed to increase its audience with nearly every episode, giving the network its most watched show since "The Sopranos", so a third season is nothing short of a no-brainer!

NEXT STORY

I've finally warmed up to this show. Being a fan of Alan Ball's previous output I was dissapointed at first. But I just got done cracking out on season 1 and caught up on season 2, and now I'm digging it.

It's definately a satire though, and I think it pokes fun AT some of the more trite vampire fanbase (those who read the awful "Quenched" books etc) which the cynical asshole in me loves.

I'll keep watching and I look forward to season 3.

You're absolutely right. I know I'll probably be alone on this one, but as much as I love the show, there is just way too much sex in nearly every episode.
