New Satanic Panic Stills Surface
Marc Selz dropped us a line with a couple of stills from his devil-cult film Satanic Panic and talked some distro plans! So when can we expect to see the demonic mayhem?
According to Selz, the film has been submitted to several companies and they're hoping to hear something back very soon. In the interim, dig on the stills below, and we'll keep you informed.
The film is based on the silly panic that occurred during the 1970s and 1980s when Satanism was all the rage. Though the Satan card isn't played as much today, back only 20 to 30 years ago the Lord of Darkness was the cause of everything from D&D to Presidential elections. For such a turbulent subject it has not really gotten the screen time it deserves until now. The eyewitness accounts of all the ritualistic wrongdoing have paved the road, and with Marc Selz behind the wheel Satanic Panic will hopefully “capture that older gritty look with a docu-style feel along the lines of The Blair Witch Project and Wolf Creek.”
