Dollhouse Season 1 Pre-Order and Season 2 Update

default-featured-image

If you’re a fan of Fox TV’s “Dollhouse” series, we have some good news and some bad news. Let’s start with the good: The premiere episode of Season 2 is being written and directed by Joss Whedon himself. The bad? You’re going to have to wait one more week to get your dose of Dushku as Fox has pushed back the series’ return to September 25th.

According to The Live Feed at THR.com, the start date was moved in order “to ensure that episodes would run consecutively.” That’s promising news indeed!

In addition, if you’re planning to both (a) order Season 1 on DVD or Blu-ray and (b) attend this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (or know someone who is), you’ll want to click the graphic below to get the limited edition SDCC 09 exclusive from the Fox store. Only 5,000 copies were produced, and each includes an individually numbered letter from Joss Whedon to his fans. The set contains all twelve Season 1 episodes plus two unaired episodes – the original pilot and “Epitaph One”. As an added bonus, you can name a “pick-up person” in the event you won’t be at Comic-Con.

The rest of you can, of course, order a regular DVD or Blu-ray set, which will be released July 28th, from the EvilShop.
