Finally the fourth film in the Final Destination franchise, simply called The Final Destination, has met the MPAA and come away with the rating we were hoping for!
That's right, dead-heads - the flick has gotten itself a dripping wet R for "strong violent/gruesome accidents, language, and a scene of sexuality."
Hopefully said scene of sexuality will lead to a strong violent/gruesome accident. We'll find out when it hits theatres on August 28th!

Thank the Rated R gods!! in this day and age this rating is a little surprise, just think, Stepfather remake is rated PG-13 as it stands now, that's crap!

The Stepfather doesn't have to be rated R though. A movie about gruesome deaths in which they filmed it in 3D to showcase the gruesome deaths, this is not a surprise to me at all.
