Madness Will Descend on Cannes

After the success of Let the Right One In, we've been waiting to see what the next big thing from Sweden might be, and today we got word from Stockholm Syndrome Film, the filmmakers behind Madness, that their debut project will be shown at this year's Cannes film festival. 

Madness' official synopsis is as follows:  Friends Jenna and Tara are on their way to a cheerleading contest. At a gas station they decide to help two guys, Oliver and Chad, who are having problems with their car. What they don't know is that they are being watched by a group of mad men. Their only intention is to hunt them down and kill them for pleasure. After being captured and locked up, survival is the only thing that matters, but just how far are they willing to go?
