However, fans of the timeless tale of Beauty and the Beast are about to get to know her in a big way. According to Entertainment Tonight the vivacious young starlet is getting set to star in Beastly for CBS Films. Beastly is based upon the young adult novel by Alex Flinn and is a modern day telling of the aforementioned Beauty and the Beast. The story centers upon a witch who turns a handsome yet smarmy young man into a self-loathing monster. Please for the love of god let him be an unstoppable flesh-eating hell-beast that can only be killed by self-mastication! One can dream, no? Also in talks to co-star is 19-year-old British actor Alex Pettyfer, who can be seen currently in Tormented. Cameras roll this summer.
