Behind the Reflection 2: Witch’s Revenged continues the story of a young mother who is trying to protect her son from an evil witch. Although, the mother has managed to save her son form the grasps of the witch before, the witch has broken out of prison and is now looking for revenge. When the witch shows up at their house one night and takes the boy’s soul into the dimension within the mirror, the mother realizes that she will have to embark on another dangerous mission if she ever hopes to see her son again.
As you progress through the game, you’ll search through a ton of hidden object scenes searching for items that will help you on your journey. Many puzzles will have to be solved in certain areas, and you’ll have to find out where and when you’ll need the extra items in your inventory. You can receive hints when you get stuck, and a hint meter will then slowly refill for the next time you’ll need to use it. And of course, you’ll find some really beautiful artwork and a really enchanting soundtrack that you’ve come to expect from Alawar.
One of the biggest improvements Behind the Reflection 2: Witch’s Revenge makes is in the hidden objects lists. Now rather than always having a list of words to let you know what items you are searching for, a list of pictures will sometimes be provided so you know exactly what you’re trying to find in the hidden scenes. This improvement simply makes an already fun game that much better.
Behind the Reflection 2: Witch’s Revenge is simply another great game in a long line of fun titles from Alawar.
