Super Early Art for Chain Letter

You know what? I'm super excited about Deon Taylor's upcoming flick, Chain Letter, and not just because the movie has a great cast and is rumored to have some insane kills.
I'm excited because of Taylor himself! Why? Because of his anthology Nite Tales (review here). That little low budget flick had every right to completely suck, but it didn't. True, Flava Flav almost killed it, but he's not in Chain Letter and that's a bonus right there! Taylor's energy and enthusiasm to make a good horror movie won me over. I expect the same from his latest effort.
Chain Letter stars Michael Bailey Smith, Nikki Reed, Noah Segan, Keith David, Betsy Russell, Matthew Cohen, Cody Kasch, Michael J. Pagan, Cherilyn Wilson, and Clifton Powell and tells the tale of a maniac who targets teens when they fail to forward chain mail. Still no word on a release date.

That's how I felt about Nite Tales too, and it has only upped my excitement for Chain Letter. The trailer didn't impress me, but the cast list sure did, and I look forward to checking out the movie.

I agree. They could have done better work on the trailer, but Nikki Reed's popularity is gaining fast with her success in Twilight. And there's apparently some behind the scenes talk about how creative the deaths in this movie are. I guess the only way to find out is to watch it.
I'm still waiting for a release date though and won't be satisfied til I get one.
(I gotta schedule my years' movie viewings in advance you know!)
