I Sell the Dead to Get a Sequel
Even though the movie is still enjoying an acclaimed festival run and there's no word on an official release date, I Sell the Dead is going to be getting itself a sequel!
Fangoria caught up with director Glenn McQuaid, who revealed a few details about the status of said sequel:
"The sequel is [currently] this 200-page script,” McQuaid said during an interview. “I want to revisit these great characters. I'm calling it The Further Adventures of Grimes & Blake. It’s basically a giant undead heist movie in the vein of The Great Train Robbery! Obviously, Grimes and Blake are back, but they are mainly dealing with a whole slew of new and eccentric characters. I’m selling it as less of a sequel and more of continuation of the world and the duo."
The next stop on I Sell the Dead's festival run will be at the Philadelphia Film Festival. Check out their site for more info, and dig on the trailer below!
