Underworld: Rise of the Lycans DVD Specs

Underworld: Rise of the LycansPer usual, DVD Active got the early word on the special features that'll be found on the Underworld: Rise of the Lycans disc when it hits DVD and Blu-ray on May 12, 2009.

For a third entry, it was way better than it deserved to be, so I'll for sure be picking it up, even more so thanks to all the extras listed below:

  • Filmmaker commentary
  • "Deathclub" music video by William Control
  • Three featurettes ("Underworld: Rise of the Lycans - From Script to Screen", "The Origin of the Feud", and "Re-Creating the Dark Ages - The Look of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans")

    • Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be:

  • "Behind the Castle Walls": Picture-in-Picture feature
  • Lycanthropes Around the World Interactive Map
  • A digital copy of the film

    • No official artwork has been released yet, but I'm sure we'll be seeing it shortly. In the meantime, click the EvilShop link below to sign up for notice of when you can pre-order the DVD.
