Capcom's RE5 Blood DriveIf you live in the LA area, here's your chance to give back to the community and also score some cool stuff for yourself. On Friday, March 13, Capcom will usher in the launch of Resident Evil 5 by partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive.

Fans of the series who donate blood will receive exclusive RE5 limited edition items created specifically for this event, including a series of hand-numbered stylized posters, bumper stickers, buttons, and a chance to win a copy of the game or an exclusive red Xbox 360 Resident Evil limited edition console.

Details are as follows:

  • When: Friday, March 13, 2009, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Where: World of Wonder Gallery, 6650 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA

    • Although drop-ins are welcome, they would appreciate it if people would sign up ahead of time by visiting Capcom-Unity.com. Even if you can't make it, be sure to pre-order your copy of Resident Evil 5 from EvilShop below!
