Giant Roaches Attack NYC in Pesticide
As if the roaches in New York City weren't bad enough as it is, now comes our first look at Pesticide, a new big bug movie about mammoth cockroaches on the prowl in the Big Apple. Ick!
Director Pat Cerrato is giving us a first look at his rampaging roach flick. Keep in mind all the footage seen in the teaser below is from a rough cut of his giant insect creeper currently in the early stages of post-production (plenty of work ahead for effects, sound, color, and editing). Looks to me like it has shades of the cult favorite Alligator. Give the teaser a look, but don't expect to see a colossal cockroach until the final split seconds of the teaser.
We'll keep you posted on the future progress of Pesticide. In the meantime, unless you suffer from entomophobia, check it out below.

Leave it to STYD to find a batch of conceptual pieces by makeup FX artist Rick Baker online at ZBrushCentral. Do they provide an early look at star Benicio Del Toro's change from mild-mannered Lawrence Talbot to the creature known as The Wolfman? We won't know for sure until later this year, but in the meantime they sure do make for some fun speculation!

Looks & sounds great, really looking forward to this one!
