UK to Unleash Zombies of the Night

British Phoenix Films and Burn Hand Film Productions have joined together to produce Zombies of the Night directed by Stuart Brennan and starring Joe Bone. The film is just wrapping up post-production and is slated for release in the fall of this year.

Here's a brief plot synopsis: Tom , a carefree guy, lives with his parents. Foot and Mouth disease has broken out in epidemic proportions, and suddenly people are being turned into zombies.

We've certainly seen similar stories before, but as the filmmakers describe Zombies of the Night, "It's not a scientific, discover a cure movie - it's a how the hell am I going to survive this adventure. The idea for the film was very simple. If I literally woke up to discover my parents had become zombies - what the hell would I do? Would I believe it? Would I survive it? Who would believe me?"
