Ghostbusters 3 Shooting This Fall?
It’s a small thing, but at this point we’ll take any updates we can get regarding Ghostbusters 3, which has gone from wild rumor to solid fact in the course of a few short months.
While in Boston to promote the House of Blues, Dan Ayroyd chatted with the Boston Globe and, according to a scooper for AICN, said that the Ghostbusters 3 “script is commenced early summer. Hope to be in production by late fall 2009”.
That means we could see a new Ghostbusters by 2010 if all goes well! We’re keeping our fingers crossed that both the commissioned script is worthy and the production gets rolling without a hitch. The rumored plot that we've been hearing about for years will see the original four Ghostbusters training a whole new generation of would-be heroes; the question is what kind of threat will come along that will challenge them and help them prove their worth? As long as there's no pink goo involved, I'll be pretty happy...
