As you all know, the West Coast premiere of Black Devil Doll will be on April 17th, 2009, at the New Beverly Cinema (same weekend as the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors and just a 10- to 15-minute cab ride away).
The New Beverly only has 275 seats so the show is expected to sell out quickly. To ensure the fans who have supported the project since the beginning get a seat, the filmmakers have set up some advance on-line ticket sales. In addition, a second California show has been announced for May 1st at the Art Theatre in Long Beach. Mondo Celluloid is hosting a screening of Black Devil Doll with special opening guest Blowfly. Yep, the original DIRTY rapper himself will be performing a set right before the screening!
