Left 4 Dead DLC Officially Announced
It's no secret my favorite game of the past year is without question Left 4 Dead. Lots of folks have been complaining that it was on the short side of the fence, but to me? Killing zombies never gets old. Still, for the complainers out there Valve is set to deliver.
In an announcement this morning Valve revealed the first details about the upcoming downloadable content we all have been dying for.
Known as "The Survival Pack", the expansion will include a new game mode called "Survival" as well as two new campaigns for the game's existing Versus mode. We will see the release of this content this spring alongside a "Critic's Choice Edition" of the game that includes both the add-on as well as the original game. Valve usually updates its PC content for free, and this will be no different so don't bother saving a penny!
I know, pretty vague, but at least it's something. My hope is that these two new campaigns for Versus Mode will be something other than just making the existing ones that weren't playable, playable.
Guess we'll see come spring!
