Exclusive: Jon Knautz on His Upcoming Film Something Fierce

It’s been a few years since we’ve seen the work of Jon Knautz (Goddess of Love, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, The Shrine) but now we’ve got exclusive word from the writer/director about his next project, Something Fierce!
Knautz tells Dread Central, “Something Fierce is a concept I’ve been picking away at in the crevices of my brain for 15 years now. It revolves around a reclusive burn victim who grows a very twisted obsession with a beautiful woman. It’s definitely the darkest tale for me yet. We go to camera in a few days. We’ve got some pretty intense scenes, but I’m blessed with a killer team and we’re all ready for battle. Stay tuned…”
Knautz confirms that he will produce alongside Alexis Kendra and James F. Nelson. Knautz and Kendra, who collaborated with him on Goddess of Love, are writing the film. The film’s cinematographer is Josh Allen, who was the DP on Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer and Matthew Brulotte, “My go-to editor…“, will be editing the film.
Something Fierce stars Alexis Kendra, Stelio Savante, Rachel Alig, and Elizabeth Sandy.
