Fans of Grindhouse (review here) are in for a pleasant surprise today. While I was on my daily search for new Batman and Spider-Man costumes (because K6 looks good in tights), I came across a very unique film prop. What could be more exciting than spandex? I don’t know … how about Stuntman Mike’s car?!
If you’re itching to test your mortality and you’ve got the bucks, check out eBay Motors, where you can bid on one of the two remaining Death Proof cars. This version of Stuntman Mike’s vehicle was used for interior shots and features the clear plastic plate that separates Mike from his victims, a faux rusty interior and that badass duck on the front.
Financing is available via eBay if you’re that serious about owning a piece of movie magic. The reserve is probably set somewhere around $10k so be prepared to fork out a pretty penny. It is also located in Texas so you’re either going to have to pick it up or pay to have it shipped to you. But if you loved Death Proof as much as the rest of us here at DC, it is totally worth it.
