No, Bonejangles isn’t the long-awaited Corpse Bride spinoff featuring Danny Elfman’s jazz singing skeleton. Instead, it’s a new horror film about an unstoppable killer, who gets his name from the fact that the last thing his victims’ hear is the jangle of his bones. Maybe they would have preferred to hear him jazz singing.
We don’t yet know when exactly we’ll be seeing Bonejangles’ killing spree, but they’ve set up a Facebook page. In addition to the grindhouse-style trailer, artist Dirk Eidsmoe also created an amazing hand-drawn poster that you can drool over below.
Bonejangles stars Reggie Bannister, Elissa Dowling, Kelly Misek, Jr., Julia Cavanaugh, Devin Toft, Jamie Scott Gordon, Lawrence Wayne Curry, and Hannah Richter. It’s produced by Labyrinth Films in association with Mystery Library and Lights Out Productions.
Synopsis:
To safely deliver an unstoppable killer, a rag-tag group of police officers must first survive a hellish pit stop: a cursed town where the dead rise from their graves.
