If you’re a fan of both killer robots and heavy metal, then this story is for you! We’re pleased to announce that the upcoming Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter has signed heavy metal sensations Rhapsody of Fire to work on the film. Check out the new poster and a few behind-the-scenes images.

Director Neil Johnson has worked with many established music artists, including Rhapsody, with whom he has been associated since 2002.

“Rhapsody of Fire were long described in the press as ‘epic heavy metal’ because their music sounded like a giant movie soundtrack – so this is perfect beyond imagination,” said Johnson.

Alex Staropoli, the primary composer of Rhapsody of Fire, is currently signed to AFM Records. The Italian virtuoso has worked alongside orchestras since the turn of the century and is finally fulfilling his destiny to compose music in a similar vein to Ennio Moriconi, who won this year’s Oscar for Best Music.

“I’m so happy that Rhapsody of Fire will be composing the music for Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter and the accompanying soundtrack,” says Rogue Warrior star Tracey Birdsall. “I’ve always been a fan of their music, and I think their music will bring so much life to the film… This is a very exciting time for us! Their compositions are deep and full of life…”

Birdsall (Dawn of the Crescent Moon) leads a cast that includes Daz Crawford (Blade II), William Kircher (The Hobbit), Stephen Manley (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock), Livvy Stubenrauch (Frozen), Erin Bethea (Fireproof), Tim McGrath, Ashley Park, and Aaron Jacques (I Might Even Love You).

The film depicts the overthrow of humanity by Artificial Intelligence and is expected to be the first in a franchise. Release date to be announced.
