Sorority Row DVD Finally Gets a Release Date

We got some news today that’s sure to make one of our loyal readers, fceurich39, ecstatic: Stewart Hendler’s Sorority Row remake is finally hitting DVD on February 23, 2010.

That date came courtesy of Video ETA (thanks to Joey Monda for the heads-up) and is subject to further verification, but we’ll take it for now. No artwork or special features are available yet so keep it here for more as it comes.

Sorority Row (review here), starring Briana Evigan, Audrina Patridge, Rumer Willis, Carrie Fisher, Jamie Chung, Julian Morris, and Margo Harshman, tells the story of a group of sorority girls who inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong. They agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again so they can get on with their lives. This proves easier said than done, when after graduation a mysterious killer goes after the five of them and anyone who knows their secret.

Now, if we can just find out when The Collector hits DVD, our work will be done!

This isn’t going to win any awards, but I thought it was a really fun and simple slasher flick.

Really enjoyed some of the setpieces, as well as the sense of fun running throughout.

I’ll be all over this BD.
