Vin Diesel Provides an Update on New Riddick Film; Will Be a Prequel

Vin Diesel has taken to Facebook to provide fans of the Riddick character with an update on his previous announcement about Furia (or Furya, we’re still not certain), the next installment in the franchise that began with Pitch Black.
Per the below video, in which Diesel is joined by writer/director David Twohy, the upcoming fourth film in the series will, in fact, be an origin story that could possibly begin shooting in 2017.
Per usual, we’ll keep our eyes and ears open for more details as they come.
