‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Adds Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson to Cast

Bokeem Woodbine (pictured above in Devil) and Nona Parker Johnson (pictured below in Fear the Walking Dead) will join the second season of Dexter: Resurrection in series regular roles, Dread learned.
Johnson will play “Fiona Mixon,” a training officer in the Homicide unit and a nepo-baby in the police world, as well as Harrison’s (Jack Alcott) new love interest.
Woodbine will portray “Capt. Mixon,” a bulldog of a homicide captain and Fiona’s (Johnson) father.
In addition to Woodbine and Johnson’s casting, Paramount+ recently announced that Brian Cox will join the season as “The New York Ripper,” Uma Thurman will reprise her role as Charley, and Dan Stevens will play “The Five Borough Killer.”
From Emmy-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, the series stars SAG and Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.
Produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios, Dexter: Resurrection is executive produced by Emmy nominee Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner, alongside Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. Additional executive producers include John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, along with Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean & Katrina Mathewson.
Season one of Dexter: Resurrection is available to binge on Paramount+ with the Paramount+ Premium Plan.
