‘Alien: Earth’ Breakout Sydney Chandler Cast in ‘Creature Commandos’ Season 2
Sydney Chandler has joined the cast of Creature Commandos for its upcoming second season, marking her latest major role following her breakout in Alien: Earth, TheInSneider reports.
The animated series is based on the obscure DC Comics team of the same name, originally introduced in the 1980s, and follows a covert unit of monstrous operatives – including a vampire, a werewolf, and other supernatural figures – sent on dangerous government missions.
She will play Nosferata, pictured below, a centuries-old vampire operative with enhanced strength, hypnotic abilities, and a ruthless edge in combat.
Chandler has steadily built momentum in film and television, with roles in projects like Don’t Worry Darling and Pistol, but her performance in Alien: Earth significantly raised her profile within genre circles.
Creature Commandos is part of the rebooted DC Universe spearheaded by James Gunn and Peter Safran. Season 1 launched as the first official entry in the new DCU, blending dark humor, wartime elements, and horror influences.
