It’s Harvest Time in Trailer for ‘Jack-O 2’, the Sequel to the Halloween Slasher Cult Classic!

It’s harvest time once again! The cult slasher villain icon Jack-O has returned in Jack-O 2, and we have our first look at the long-awaited sequel in a new trailer below, courtesy of Joblo.
Directed by Steve Latshaw and released in 1995, Jack-O revolves around a group of teens stalked by the infamous killer, Jack-O, on Halloween night after they disturb his resting place.
Like Pumpkinhead meets Michael Myers, the pumpkin-headed villain became a cult icon discovered by kids like myself at the video store drawn in by that big-ole Jack-o’-lantern sneer of his. The film isn’t exactly great, but it is an amusing little piece of direct to video 90s horror.
Now, more than thirty years later, producer on the original film, Fred Olen Ray, is back with Jack-O 2, which he wrote, directed, and produced. Latshaw is also back as a producer alongside Sean Donohue. William Grefé is on board as an executive producer.
Said Ray, “Jack‑O 2 pushes our characters—and our audience—to the edge while honoring the outrageous spirit of the original. It’s a return to practical, in‑your‑face horror filmmaking.“
Jack-O 2 stars Sybil Danning (Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf), Richard Gabai (Nightmare Sisters), Sushii Xhyvette Holder (Swamp Woman), Martin Nicholas (Beach Blanket Bloodbath), and Annah Arias.
At this time, we don’t have a release date or official plot synopsis, so stay tuned to Dread as we learn more details.
