Danny Trejo Horror Film 'Accursed' Set for July 23 Release Through Buffalo 8 [Trailer]

Buffalo 8 will release the supernatural horror film Accursed on July 24, with pre-orders scheduled to begin July 10.

Co-directed by Humberto Rosa and Frank Visciglia, the supernatural horror film stars Danny Trejo (From Dusk Till Dawn, Planet Terror, Dead in Tombstone) alongside Paris Dylan, Gabriel Sousa, Philippe A. Haddad, Kira Cahill, Lulu Bailey, Vivien Soraya, and Rafael Amadeu.

According to the official synopsis:

“A nun bearing a blasphemous child is forced to give her baby up for the greater good. 21 years later, this haunting past, along with those involved, returns to take what is rightfully theirs. A group of friends gets caught up in the madness as, at the stroke of midnight, things begin to get eerie. Something Evil has risen. Meanwhile, one of the girls is being tormented by visions that start to come true. Who will survive this battle of good versus evil?

While Trejo is best known to horror fans for films such as From Dusk Till Dawn, Planet Terror, and Dead in Tombstone, cast member Kira Cahill has also appeared in genre projects, including Ouija House and other independent horror titles.

The film was produced by Alvaro Vasquez, executive produced by Victoria Turmina, and features a screenplay by Sean Crayne.

Accursed arrives on digital platforms through Buffalo 8 on July 24, with pre-orders opening July 10.
