‘Leviticus’ Trailer Wants You to be Scared

NEON (LonglegsInfinity Pool, Possessor) has ignited anticipation for its next horror film, Leviticus, sharing the first official trailer for its queer horror entry, which opens in theaters on June 19, 2026.

Adrian Chiarella‘s chilling festival hit follows two star-crossed teenage boys who must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most — each other.

It has strong It Follows vibes, paired with sharp social commentary: the entity feeds on fear, pushing the two boys to be afraid of loving each other. It looks like a solid summer horror flick.

Leviticus has Mia Wasikowska’s comeback after three years, and also stars Talk to Me‘s Joe Bird, as well as Stacy Clausen (Crazy Fun Park), Jeremy Blewitt (The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart), Ewen Leslie (Nightingale), David McKenzie (Silent Night), Nicholas Hope (Bad Boy Bubby) and Zhara Newman (Thirteen Lives).

“I’d wanted to merge my love of horror with homophobia because, if you think about it, horror movies are always about fear, and homophobia is a type of fear,” Chiarella previously told EW.

The film, hailing from Australia, recently had its World Premiere, and we rounded up reviews from around the community.

Leviticus is rated R for “bloody violent content, language, some sexual content and teen drug use.”

It will never stop.
