Hail to the King: ‘Army of Darkness’ Gets an Incredible 6-Foot Ash Williams Halloween Animatronic!
This might be one of the coolest horror Halloween decorations we’ve seen all year.
HalloweenCostumes.com has unveiled an officially licensed six-foot Ash Williams animatronic based on Sam Raimi‘s Army of Darkness, bringing the chainsaw-handed hero to life just in time for spooky season.
Standing a full 6 feet tall, the animatronic recreates Ash’s iconic medieval look, complete with his tattered shirt, S-Mart name tag, and three interchangeable accessories: his signature chainsaw hand, his mechanical gauntlet, and the Necronomicon. (Sorry, no boomstick.)
Even better, Ash doesn’t just stand there looking groovy.
The animatronic features an animated arm that moves up and down while delivering dialogue pulled directly from Army of Darkness. A built-in motion sensor activates the figure as guests approach, though it can also be connected to a compatible step pad (sold separately). Volume controls and “Try Me” functionality are also included.
Whether you’re greeting trick-or-treaters or building the ultimate Evil Dead display, it’s hard not to smile seeing Ash Williams standing guard at your front door.
