Funko Pop ‘BioShock’ Vinyl Figures Come from Rapture
BioShock has always leaned hard into horror, and that’s exactly why this new wave of Funko Pops actually works. The game drops you into Rapture, an underwater city that’s completely fallen apart after genetic experiments with ADAM turned most of its population into violent, broken addicts known as Splicers.
Sander Cohen is probably the creepiest pull here. He’s an artist who went fully off the rails, turning murder into performance art and treating people like props in his “masterpieces.” Then you’ve got the Little Sister and Big Daddy, which is really the emotional core of BioShock. The Little Sisters harvest ADAM from corpses, while the Big Daddies, these massive human-machine hybrids in diving suits, are bonded to protect them at all costs.
The Splicer figure rounds it out, representing what Rapture became. They’re the citizens who abused ADAM and turned into disfigured, violent shells of themselves.
Altogether, it’s a pretty solid lineup that captures what makes BioShock hit so hard.
